The board changes with the season. Right now that means warm spice, real fruit and drinks we actually want on our own counter. When it is gone, it is gone until next year.

Espresso, filter and matcha, tasted and adjusted every morning before the doors open. Ask the bar what is pouring well today and we will tell you straight.

Blend
The same beans we pull on the bar, bagged for your kitchen. Balanced enough for black coffee, sturdy enough for milk. Ground or whole, your call at the counter.
04 · From the pastry case

Proved Slow
Laminated doughs and morning bakes made in-house. The case is fullest before nine and we would rather sell out than hold anything over to tomorrow.
05 · Off the griddle
Crepes
Thin, lacy and made to order, sweet or savory. Batter rested overnight, folded hot and handed over the counter while the edges still crackle.
06 · Boiled then baked
Bagels
Proper chew, real crust, built into breakfast sandwiches worth sitting down for. The hot honey prosciutto is the one people drive across town for.

We taste before we serve. Grind, dose and water get adjusted each day, not set once and forgotten.
Made from scratch
Doughs, batters and syrups are made in-house. If the case runs empty, it is because we baked what we could do well.
Served like neighbors
We are a small local shop in Cambridge Square. We learn names, we learn orders, and we would rather do it right than do it fast.
